Rebuilding Dream in Langkawi

Dear Friends,

We are running this campaign to help us raise enough money to rebuild our live in Langkawi.

After both of us loss our job in Kuala Lumpur, I pretty much do whatever I could to stay afloat; driving with Uber and work as part time maid while my husband care for our children and manage his online furniture business. Eventually we are forced out from the house, which then we decide to move out from the city and reside in Langkawi, a tourist hub island in north of Malaysia.

10 months living in the island, my husband as tour driver and I as housekeeper & freelance VA are living well, minimalist as possible. We wanted to stay positive for our children, living with what we had and stay closely together. We’ve been building our life slowly, brick by brick and trying to keep our head high and maintain positive.

Recently, we got the chance, an opportunity to take over a leased property to turn into homestay concept. However, the amount we needed to pay for initial deposit burn a hole in the pocket. We are asked to pay $6000 as deposit + rent to run the business. We trying our best to gathered the amount but the time is running short. We have manage to save $40 and now we at your mercy to help us rebuild our dream.

The homestay business we are planning to run are focused on freelance globetrotter or famously known as Digital Nomads. We will also open our doors to tourists alike who enjoy peaceful holiday, away from the typical tourists spot. The location of the property located in on top of the hill Kampung Bukit Tangga, Langkawi with breathaking view of Matchincang Cambria.
