Put Oliver back on the tennis court!
In 1995, Oliver, my father visited the island of St. Martin for the first time. His biggest dream to start his own Tennis Academy came true in 2004 when together with my Mom Jennifer he bought a piece of land in the area of French Cul-de-Sac and built a state of the art tennis facility where locals and tourists alike would meet.
Our family has survived many storms since then but none has yet been as violent as Irma, the disastrous storm that had its eyewall sweeping over St. Martin on September 6th. We were always able to bounce back with our own means. This time around it is different. The damage is extensive which includes fence damage, a totally destroyed tennis boutique, light fixtures that turned into various directions and a broken gate. The cost to put the Academy back up and running is beyond our capacity therefore we need your help.
Who is Oliver?
The most passionate and dedicated person to the cause of tennis I have ever known and I would like my father to be able to continue teaching tennis and passing on the tennis message to the community of St. Martin for many more years to come.
How will the funds be spent?
- Repairs to damaged part of tennis court fence, purchase of new fencing material to replace 100ft of fence at 10ft height
- Labor to readjust 6 tennis light fixtures
- Purchase of 1 new tennis court light
- Purchase of electrical cables
- Building materials to rebuild tennis boutique
- Repairs of entry gate
- Shipping and handling for purchased materials
Please donate to my campaign so that my father's Tennis Academy can welcome locals and tourists again.
Any donation to my campaign will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
