Campaign Story
On December 16, 2021, Typhoon Odette entered the Philippines and left tremendous destruction in its path. Siargao was one of the worst hit by the typhoon. We were not spared. While we are grateful our family, pets and our staff were all safe, we woke up to find White Banana gone, along with most of our home. All the love and passion that we put into building was eradicated overnight. White Banana Beach Club was our passion project, it was our bread and butter. It was our home.
We are calling out to everyone including supporters, friends, friends who have become family and guests of White Banana... please help our rebuild our dream. We understand this hasn't been an easy 2 years for all of us, we still hope you can share, even a little. Any amount would be an immense help to us. We poured our life savings into making White Banana an experience our guests will never forget, and after barely making it through the pandemic, we have no resources left to rebuild. We would love to continue cultivating the same, or provide a better experience for all our guests and friends. Your contribution would be a big help to our family.

So sad to see what happened in Philippines and specifically siargao, I visited with my friends in 2019 and siargio was to me the best hidden gem of Philippines, hope you will rebuild this amazing place

Myself and my partner were in siargao in 2019 . We loved white banana so much that we went every morning breakfast during the week we were there. (And we caught some live music one of the evenings) It was the most beautiful place & we hope to return some day. Sending love from Ireland xx

White Banana is without doubt one of the best places I’ve stayed, heartbroken to see what’s happened to it and many other homes/businesses in Siargao. Sending lots of love and hope it’s back to it’s former glory soon, look forward to coming back one day to my favourite place! 🙏🏻❤️💫
