My Nepali friend Prakash is having a hard time in his life now.

Prakash was born in rural village near Mount Everest, he worked as a porter since he was 15. Despite lacking proper education, he learned English from his foreign clients and self study guiding knowledge, he started his guiding carrier, take people trekking in Nepal Himalayan, including, Everest, Annapurna, Makaru....major mountains in Nepal, as well as unknown beautiful mountain. He worked as guide for last 15 years.

Coming from a rural village, he struggle a lot to feed his family and after his son and daughter was born, he tried his best to feed his children. Life is not easy, but he enjoyed his work and tried his best to help the youngsters from his village.

I met him because he once guide my uncle, who was 72 yrs old, cross the 5500 m pass in Everest region, I knew him because I too was doing guide in Nepal, we spend time together when we finished work.

Just 1.5 months before, Nepal was still in its monsoon, the water wash out the land and hill above his village. His one and only house was destroy. Luckily his father who staying there was alive! But he really needs to rebuild the house as soon as possible. For a normal nepali people is difficult to collect the rebuild money, but the cost actually is much cheaper than we need in developed countries. With your little help, he can rebuild a permanent place for living, settle his family and continue his journey...

Below is the message from him:

My plan is rebuilding to my family home in January 2020. Until January I have to work and accumulation some money for the all types of materials credited of the make my family house. And my plan is I don’t need big and standard house, I just want to build small and simple and inexpensive because I don’t have that much amount. And I have got something from Government but it is very small just (180,000) only it’s not enough rebuilding to my father house. And here is plus 300 euro from Holland, who is my best friend Barbara and Roy from Holland. If I have 600,000 Nepali Rupees it could be enough because I have 20,000 on my hand

N: 01 = I have to cut wood for the house morphed (N.P, R: 250,000
N: 02 = to the sodden stone (N.P, R: 250,000
N: 03 = to defame (N.P, R: 50,000
N: 04 = window framed (N.P, R: 100,000
N: 05 = rebuild house of finishing (N.P, R: 200,000
N: 06 = for the roof (N/P, R: 100,000
n: 07 = A plot on which the house is erected ready (N.P, R: 100,000
All total N.P, R: ( 1,050,000)

So base on him, he will need at least 60.000 nepali rupees, which is around 5300 USD.
