Campaign Story
On the 5th of November 2021, just after loadshedding, Oom Pieter Rossouw heard this loud explosion, and shortly thereafter another bang. As he got out of bed, into the lounge/ Kitchen area, and it was flames everywhere. Oom Pieter, His sister and her Husband got out of the house in time, but the house and all the contents were destroyed on the fire, there were nothing left.
He didn't have any insurance, seeing that his only income is a Sassa Grand of R1890 per month, that leaves no penny for insurance of any kind.
The estimate to finish the flat he was busy building, is around R180.000.
We are doing fundraisers and donations are coming in, but not enough to finish the building
So any amount will be welcome, and will be much appreciated.
