Rebuild a Community…One Student at a Time!

An abrupt change in the small suburb of Chicago has devestated the community. The Children's House in Park Forest , IL was abruptly closed by its owner with no notice. The Markham, IL location closed  approximately two weeks later with little notice. Workers and parents showed up for work at the Park Forest, IL location on Monday, February 18th to the sad news that the child care center  which had been in the community had been closed down by its owner. A center that has been in the community for over 20 years, serving 400 children was completely caught off guard by the news. With nothing but a letter from the owner, parents were left to scramble for alternative childcare arrangements and the teachers were left unemployed. Several employees and families affected by this sudden change to the community has decided to regain the childcare center that has served them for so many years. We are raising money to re-open the Park Park Forest, IL center which was the largest facility and get students back in school and teachers back to work. 

We've always thought about opening a child care center, but we never thought a situation like this one would occur. We are committed to serving children, serving the community that has allowed us to take care of their children for so long and committed to deliver "First Class" care to all families.
