We are raising money for the Son of one of our oldest friends.
Jack aged 2 was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) a few weeks before Christmas.
For those of you who do not know, DMD is a cruel disease which in the main only affects boys for which there is no cure.
Every single one of Jack's muscles are wasting away on a daily basis.
On current statistics Jack may need walking aids in 12 months, then need a wheelchair around 8-12 years old until his last muscle (the heart) fails around his 18th birthday.
The disease is 100% fatal, I say again, there is no cure.
We want to help Jack's incredibly brave parents Marc and Anna raise as much money as they can to promote awareness and help fund research to fund a cure.
We are taking part in the Half Tough Mudder with my Husband in Leicester on 14th May. It promises to be 8 km of fun and muddy madness.
Please help us raise money for Jack and all the other wonderful little boys like him who deserve our help to give them the future they deserve.
Every penny helps.
Wish us luck! :)
