Read for GLoBAL [Global Literacy on Becoming Achiever Learner] is a school program which aims to improve Grade 11 (SHS) students’ academic performance by developing students’ critical thinking & reading skills which includes:
1. reading ability with fluency and accuracy
2. global awareness on various issues [Health, Technology, Political, and Social]
students’ English vocabulary
3. reading comprehension skills
4. communicative competence of the students.
Since my advocacy program relies on the generosity of individuals, I write to ask you to consider a donation to our cause.
The attached photo is the proposed Reading Center. This is an old school canteen. So I am raising fund for the repair of this small building to convert it into a reading center.
