Readi-Lid

The Readi-Lid is a revolutionary product that allows spill-free travel using your favorite cup. It was originally designed because I was frustrated with having a cabinet full of cups and mugs but never able to find the lids. I purchased the hard replacement lids but usually were never an exact fit or didn't fit at all. The Readi-Lid is a pliable, rubber lid that features a unique push button adjust-to-fit feature that will ensure the Readi-Lid will be an exact fit to your cup in the specific size range. 

Another inspiration was that my children have their favorite cups that they use at home and will often ask to take cups along during travel but never could due to fear of spillage.

Upon development of the product we realized that not only would this be great for travel but you can also keep the Readi-Lid hangy to use on cups purchased at fast food restaurants or convenience stores. It is much more sanitary to use you own lid instead of the lids that are constantly handled by a countless amount of people on a daily basis. Imagine the amount of germs and bacteria that can be avoided by using your Readi-Lid. Not only will this improve sanitation but reducing the use of plastic lids will reduce waste which is great for the environment.

I am requesting the money to further prototype development in all five available sizes. I am also going to use the money to design product packaging in order to market the Readi-Lid to large retailers. Thank you for your consideration.
