Reaching the Millennial Voter

What We've Been Up To:

The Florida Atlantic University College Democrats have had a year of inspiring experiences, and we would like to continue our success in informing, involving, and engaging students on our campus.

Last semester alone, we have traveled the state of Florida educating college students about Democratic values and encouraged them to get out the vote. Just this past semester we registered 700+ students to vote, and our club has grown to over 100 active and dues paying members.

However, as we kick-off one of the most important election years in our lives, we will be necessitating resources. In 2016, we hope to give the opportunity to students to travel across the country and state to attend political and democratic events, host engaging and informative events for the student body, host speakers, and train the future leaders of our country.

Any amount will do, and we are eternally grateful for your donation. This will help us get the tools and resources needed to effectively work to elect Democrats across the state while shaping the next generation of voters.

About us:

The College Democrats at FAU strive to inform & educate members of the FAU community about Democratic ideas to get our members involved in community activism and to help them find causes and candidates they believe in and want to support.

We aim to have candidates, elected officials and activists come speak on campus to help inspire and motivate members to get involved and be politically aware of their community and country.

As College Democrats at FAU, we work tirelessly to get students at FAU registered to vote so that can be active and informed members of society.
We are looking for funding to help us to continue to educate and inform College Students in our Community. This funding will go towards campus events that include but are not limited to hosting speakers, traveling to conventions across the state, and our Get out the Vote efforts.
