Reaching the Holy Land

What would it be like to walk where Jesus walked, eat where Jesus ate, and experience even a portion of what He experience during His mortal life? These are things that I have wondered for a while as Jesus Christ is a huge part of my life.

Have you ever wanted to learn about other cultures by being immersed in them or travel to different countries to learn about history first-hand?

It has always been a dream of mine to walk where Jesus walked and experience even a minute amount of what He experienced and to travel around the world learning about different cultures and the history of great civilizations.

I have been given the opportunity, through my school, to study in Jerusalem for a semester during the summer of 2017 at a beautiful campus located on Mount Scopus also known as the Mount of Olives. In order for me to go, though, I need to raise some money for the program fees.

Along with visiting Jerusalem, I will have the opportunity to visit Jordan and Greece. The program fees would include both of those trips and trips around Jerusalem to places that Jesus had been.

This will be such a tremendous learning experience. I have the opportunity to study different cultures, different, languages, and different religions. I will get to learn about important moments of our world's history; aspects of history that have changed and influenced how the world works now. I will get to experience Christ's life in a way that not many people get to experience.

I will never have and opportunity like this again. I may get to go to Jerusalem in the future, but I won't get to study Jewish and Israeli culture the way I would with this program and with others who are also invested in studying in the Holy Land.

Any amount of money donated will help me. I am trying to do all I can to prevent myself from needing student loans for this experience.
