Reach Out to Rural Filipino Schools

Education in the Philippines is highly regarded and acts as the gateway to a promising future. Access to quality education can be the difference between a life of poverty and supplying support and food for families.

Although there are many schools in the area, supplies for students are extremely limited and teachers are expected to provide most of the resources for their classrooms, out of pocket.

The Schools: Tugop and Lapay Elementary Schools are located about 5 minutes apart. They are each small, rural schools and share a headmaster. The two schools have few resources and rely heavily on donations and individual teacher input.

Who we are: Four future teachers from QUT in Brisbane, Australia. We are teaching at Tugop and Lapay for the next four weeks and would like to make positive, lasting impact.

Everyone deserves access to a good education and any donation, big or small can make a huge difference to the lives of students and their teachers!

The money received will go towards funding school materials, supplies and resources that are most needed by the schools.
