Reach for the stars

Hi, my mother always say “Aim for the stars, fall on the moon” ,that has been my motto life so far. I try not to limit myself in whatever I do. Last year I was greatly ill and it costed my parents a lot. With the COVID-19 preventing my parents working, it has been an even greater set back. I was accepted for the Radiography-Dignostic Imaginary Programme after I survived the illness last year. With an acceptance rate of less than 4% you can understand how excited I was.

I graduated from high school with 9 CSEC Subjects and 7 Units of CAPE. I was the class leader for two years in which I assisted my form teacher and acted as a voice for my peers. I was a member of the choir for 5 years, Founder and President of the Yoga Club, Former Vice- President and Secretary of the Etiquette Club and also co-president of the Hospitality committee.
I received a blue cord from 5th form and a gold cord for 6th form. I have also received a gold and sliver academic pins each year. I was every active in my community, mostly church based and I have also received an award for Volunteering in my parish. When I am not involved with school and church I am reading, singing, cooking or browsing the internet whether it’s something educational or just a funny video.

The tuition cost is almost $5000 USD per year,Housing cost approximately $150 per month and other cost such as books, uniform, medication etc. I should have been starting in August however, due the virus I am not sure of the changes made as yet. I will update as soon as I am notified.

I will forever be thankful for however much I receive and I hope that I day I can help someone else. Thank you!
