Campaign Story
A recent plan by Nairobi County to set aside $1,000,000 to kill stray dogs has evoked lots of concerns among Kenyans and animal welfare societies. These same societies are urging the government to look for other ways to mitigate the stray dog menace in Kenya. This plight is to fundraise for vaccination and sterilization equipment that will be donated to NGOs that can organize a sterilization and vaccination programme for stray dogs.
I also intend to work with other dog lovers to re-home previously owned pets that were abandoned by their owners due to various reasons. Creation of awareness and education on responsible pet ownership will also be one of my key objective.
