Re-build Tourism in Sri Lanka

Hi everyone,

My name is Charaka, from Sri Lanka, married and got 2 kids age of 5 and 2. As a family we were setting up a tourism business in 2017 with a small homestay and inbound tour company to facilitate travellers from different destinations to explore the wonderful island, Sr Lanka.

But unfortunately after the horrible Easter terrorist attack in 2019 gone down our industry and then the covid outbreak collapsed and wiped out our businesses completely.

Then we had to returned our rented properties back to owners and finding different directions for survival. Right now I am in a battle of survival with my family as well as many others in the country.

I want to still re- build something where I can re-start the business freshly and also support few others with possible jobs. Therefore, I am thinking of building a eco- friendly accommodation site in a land where we can facilitate both local and foreign travelers. I understand that right now there isn't enough travellers but this is to be prepared for future with a hope so we can keep move with our passion and vision.
