Project: RE-BOOTS. Through this project, 'the football project' is working alongside many football academies in Cyprus, collecting football boots that are not needed by the children (either because they do not fit to children, or not needed in case they bought new ones). We are collecting the ones that are in good condition, and they will be given to children in need.

As a brief introduction, "the football project” is an organization, based in Cyprus, created to help the community via football. We believe that football can be more than just an entertainment tool. Football has the power to help, educate, improve the health, increase awareness and promote values in a community. One of our current projects is RE-BOOTS.

For this project we are proud to cooperate with Friends of Mulanje Orphans (FOMO) Charity No 109072. FOMO Malawi has now been running for 19 years and aims to improve the children’s life opportunities by providing free formal and inform education, health care, food security, clothes, blankets, nets and activities. FOMO cares for over 3500 children and have a network of 14 day centers with play schools, a 400 place secondary school and a general and HIV clinic.

In order to do ship the collected football boots to Malawi, we are running this campaign so we can cover a big part of the shipping expenses. Let's all together give a smile to some children.
