We are again knocking on your generous hearts to help us raise the money so my son can continue his medical care at home. Any amount will be a big help and is most greatly appreciated, as well as your prayers for Raziel’s recovery. GCASH OR BPI DONATION PLATFORM ALSO AVAILABLE BELOW.

On the night of October 10, 2020 Our son Raziel was rushed to the hospital due to DKA (Diabetic ketoacidosis Shock). He was immediately placed in Isolation ICU for close monitoring and doctors declared to us that it was 50/50. I don't know how I would react when I heard that. I wanted to cry but I want my son to see that I am strong for him to continue fighting. I thank God that after three days he starts feeling better and was transferred to a regular room when his swab test came back NEGATIVE. He was still under close monitoring as DKA is a serious complication of Diabetes.

Unfortunately, With all the tests that had to be done with our son and meds, all of our family’s savings and finances have been exhausted as we were affected as well by the pandemic and lost our jobs. We also had to seek assistance during the time our son was in the hospital to sustain the medication and the lab tests and other things we needed for our son's treatment.

He was discharged on Oct 25, 2020. We spent 250K to 400k+ pesos in total for the hospitalization of our son., but our battle is still not over. Raziel needs regular glucose monitoring and insulin shots and since he was diagnosed with ASD, occupational and developmental therapy should be continuous.

As parents, we will do everything and anything to make sure my son's needs will be provided. We are starting to get back on track as we are out of the hospital, currently looking for new clients so we can work from home. I am trying to sell empanadas and usually do live streams on Facebook for the games I love to play, but unfortunately it isn’t enough. Currently our focus is on our sons medication and check ups, as those are the most important thing now.

Our son needs 10 units of insulin shot once a day and the pen type costs 763.00 pesos and his glucose strips costs 1500.00 pesos for 50 strips only. Regular check up with his Endocrinologist is at 1,200.00 pesos, Developmental Pedia check-up is 1,800.00 pesos and therapy is 800.00 pesos twice a week. All discounted already as he has PWD ID.
