My brother Raymond has chosen to dedicate his life to the conservation of rhino's. Last year October, he and his fiance Ruleen, moved to White River, Mpumalanga, to start their journey in the bush. As you can imagine, this is not a career choice for the fainthearted, as it involves many hours in the wild, with many dangers around every conrer, not only from the wildlife, but from the ruthless rhino poachers themselves. Because of this, a lot of training and study is involved, and all this costs money. While they are studying, the are forced to waiter at a restaurant in order to pay for their studies, and to pay the bills. As you can imagine, working long hours in a restaurant does affect their studies, and it is taking a lot longer for them to get through the study course and ultimately, into the bush. Raymond has been contacted by K9 Conservation who have asked him to help them out on a temporary basis, so he will be getting some exposure into the fight against rhino poaching, before he becomes qualified. I would love to raise enough funds so that he and his fiance, Ruleen, do not have to spend their time working in the restaurant, but can rather focus on getting qualified so that they can join the fight against rhino poaching, and help bring this horrendous crime against rhino's to an end!
