Ray of Hope Botswana

Ray of Hope is a registered youth-run charity working towards educating and empowering underprivileged children and women in rural areas of Gaborone. Since 2015, our team of committed high school and college volunteers have been running weekly educational programs for over 50 children at Gamodubu Village, including HIV/AIDs patients, rape survivors and orphans.

Our organisation is now launching a women-empowerment enterprise, Hope for Her, which aims to tap into the artistry and industriousness of the women of Gamodubu. The idea is simple: to sell handmade jewellery by destitute women and plough back the generated funds into their community through vocational training programs and rural outreach.
