Name of the project: It’s the KINGS & QUEENS© Talent battle

What must happen: Have an on-going initiative of harnessing the Art and craft skills of the young individuals/groups from different communities on a stage battle with prizes to be won every after 3 months in a year.

How should it all work out: The Groups or artists will have to send through their individual booking details to reserve a space with us before the commencement of the event and let us know what will they be doing; from Live band performances, Poetry, Acting, Comedy and More.

Who should enter and what is the criteria for choosing the winning acts: It’s an initiative of participants between the ages of 15-24 years and there will be organized judges for the show to assist in different categories, e.g. We will have a judge in the drama for acting candidates, judge for comedy candidates and a judge for hip/dance candidates and all of these will apply to every participants that are going to be taking part. The prize money will not be available as a hard cash on the day of the event to whoever will be a winner, but it will reflect the following day of the event on the winner’s bank account, for the safety of the contestants and crowd.

What else will be taking part at the venue beside the entertainment from the acts: We will advertise space availability to those that will be willing to come and have a jolly business event with us where they will then need to book a space with a reasonable prize; so that we can be able to run more shows on our own. They will be having their own stalls selling anything to everything on the day and we will also have performances from the “underground” not yet known local artists to entertain the crowds. From Djs to Hip hop/rappers and Dancers. Have open stalls for apparels (If available on the day).

The safety: To all events of this kind we will book secured area/spaces where we will only have one entrance area where people will have to produce a ticket arm-band or sticker which they will attain from the people who will be safe guarding the premises and organize with the police station to get rounds from them for the safety of the crowd and contestants.

How to get the tickets: Tickets will be sold at the gates earlier on the day of the event and on all our social media platforms.

About us:

It’s the KINGS & QUEENS© Talent battle: Is a brand child of a young and dynamic visual creative hub in Pretoria called Rawpage Media (Pty) Ltd. A registered visual creative hub for young, talented individuals to commit and express themselves in the cause of voicing out the creative flairs and share their vision through the word of Art called Visual Communication.

The It’s the KINGS & QUEENS© Talent battle initiative is committed to work harder in the craft of scouting the talents and embracing the brother/sister vision in vast volumes to make them be heard and be seen/recognized in their creative spheres which some do get lost before they are even seen or heard of, because of being based in under-privileged communities within the African continent.

Our aim:

Is to aid them with the rightful opportunities that could get them into harnessing their talents which by nature grew on them and let them make people see their vision the way they (young creatives) see it.

The aim of these battles is to give these creative individuals an exposure to a larger number of people from different areas all around the city and the nation as a whole as it will be a fully advertised event with the use of multi-mediums available to the masses out there.
