Hi everyone! We are asking a pledge for everyone's help for our dear friend Ronnel Laurente. He was an outgoing guy, loves sports and such a jolly person, he was the “joker” of the crowd, everyone is happy when Ron is around, until it comes September this year, when he had a Pneumonia. After he recovered from Pneumonia by medications, he still felt tired always, not the usual “Ron” that we knew. Even with a short walk going to the office, he always feels tired and exhausted. He experienced nausea and vomiting and even pain around the abdomen. We also noticed his stomach becoming enlarged even with his noticeable weight loss with just a couple of months. It was the day right after his birthday, Dec 16, when he was admitted at Perpetual Hospital, Biñan due to excessive vomiting and muscle weakness. His doctor, an onclogist advised him that the chances of him having a Leukemia is 99% with the signs and symptoms he is showing. Although he still needs to do FISH test ehich will confirm this diagnosis, he just undergone 1 session of chemotherapy on Dec 18 bec of his very high WBC count and below normal blood sugar level. One of the trials he must go through is the medical expenses for his condition, though it is already coordinated with other government agencies for financial aid, it will take a longer time for it to be approved and therapy is needed to be started at once. In the spirit of giving, we are asking any amount you can share for our dearest friend who has been a blessing to everyone with his good heart and genuine love for his family and friends.
