Rascally Rabbit Rescue’s Veterinary Bill

Update posted by Deana Nelson On Jul 28, 2015

Immediate Need!

We recently rescued a cute little Lionhead. He was left outside in 105 degree heat, in a cage. Thankfully, a very kind passerby found him and kept him until we were able to make space for him. He is as sweet as can be, but needs to be examined by our bunny vets and neutered before we can adopt him out. With our extremely large vet bill, however, which is $5254.88 as of today (July 28th at 9:30 am), we cannot get him fixed yet. This is why we desperately need YOUR help! Please help us pay our vet bill! You can donate through this link or call our vet and give directly onto our vet bill. Their number is 480-275-7017, Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital, and they take great care of us. We are grateful that they continue to care for our pets, but we need to pay them for their services!

Ongoing Fundraisers!

Small Pet Select: Simply order beautiful and delicious hay and pellets (well, the rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas think it's delicious) through them and use code RASCALLY for free shipping. They'll donate 10% of your purchase to the rescue, and we will use that money toward our vet bill. It's a great option and your furbabies get fantastic hay!

Goodsearch and Goodshop: Simply select Rascally Rabbit Rescue as your charity of choice and shop or search online! Every search earns a penny for the rescue and shopping earns money, too, a different percentage depending upon through which partner you shop. If you shop through Amazon.com via Goodshop, you can earn us up to 1.5% of your purchase, at no additional cost to you! You can also shop and search through iGive!!

Thank you to everyone who has show support for us this week. It has been a very difficult week for Rascally Rabbit Rescue. Four rabbits with hospital stays, one of which was a rabbit I adopted from the rescue a few years ago. Fortunately, three of these rabbits are improving, some more quickly than others.

Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Mushu Buns yesterday. His cowpoop syndrome, which he has fought for years, finally got the best of him. We will miss him dearly, as he was a special rabbit, ever wanting love and attention.

Due to these emergencies, in addition to the bill we had already massed, our veterinary bill is extremely large, and I do not think it has ever been this high. We appreciate any monies people have given, and your continues support and prayers as we continue to care for these beautiful rescue pets.

Sincerely,

Deana
