Random acts of kindness helping those in need!

A Random Act of Kindness has been up and running for almost a year now. In that time we’ve managed to help lots of vulnerable people and causes.

we’ve collected for the food banks, we collected for soldiers over seas, we’ve done the giving tree at Christmas... recently we’ve been collecting donations of items that are so desperately essential for the homeless and taking ours and our members kindness to the streets.

With this comes expense.. when we come across a homeless person we give them lots of items that they need (sleeping bag, tent, sleeping mat, thermal clothing, socks, hat, gloves, emergency blankets, non perishable foods to name just a few). We also try to buy them a hot meal and drink. Obviously we have our own expense of petrol, train tickets, bags etc and providing these vulnerable people with items that haven’t been donated. This is becoming harder and harder to finance on our own.

Ideally we would need money donations so that we can have a helping hand in financing this. We will never give away cash! We feel that anything they need can be bought using gift cards. So be rest assured your money donations will always be used for the purpose they are intended.
