If not an accident caused by drunk driving, then drinking excessive amounts of pills and falling off of something as simple as stairs can be the cause of their death at a young age. They die because they don’t look for help. The reason why they keep their illness from us is usually because they are scared and ashamed in front of US. A drinking woman seems to be a bigger issue and source of shame in a family than a drinking man. However, it is important to understand that she did not chose this illness - it chose her. You and I together can provide these women with a chance to come back to life and their children. “Ramunele Rehab” will only be able to continue trying their best to work as professionally and as responsibly as they have so far if there is enough funding. Funding for therapy for addicted women, for working with their children and families.

We seem to have already broken the ice on this topic and have donated not only our money, but also time, attention, personal stories and hard, professional work.We strive to change the perspective of this issue being a shameful part of affected families into courage to get better and live. Annually, more than 3000 deaths are alcohol related. One addict can hurt 6-8 people around them, statistically. The world can be a better place - lets make it happen.
