RAMADAN FOOD BASKET 2023 FOR GAZA

Hello,

My name is Yosef Majd, an activist in the humanitarian field, I live in the Gaza Strip.

Many of you know me from sharing news about Palestine and life under occupation through various social media platforms, particularly about Gaza. As you know, Gaza has been under occupation and blockade for more than 16 years which has led to the majority of the population living in poverty without access to basic needs.

You know that soon we will be in the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of fasting among Muslims, and it is one of the most beloved months by God Almighty, as it is the month of doing good and helping the needy and everyone will multiply. May God reward them with goodness and greatness.

Most of us know the difficult humanitarian conditions of the people of the besieged Gaza Strip, where more than two million people have been living under occupation and siege for years. As a result of the Israeli blockade, poverty has increased and thousands of families are now living below the poverty line.

Every Ramadan since 2016, generous donors outside of Gaza - like you - have helped me help those in need.

My goal for this campaign:

I look forward to helping the largest number of poor families in Gaza.

One food basket costs about ($30-35 USD) and is enough for a large family for a few days.

Your assistance and support will help provide families in Gaza with a basket of items such as:

- 3 kg of sugar

- Tea

- Rice

- Cooking oil

- Eggs

- Cheese

- Lentils and beans

- Canned meat

- Juice

- Jam

- Pasta and more

Vegetables. The price of the vegetable basket ranges between:

($20-30 USD) And includes:

Potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, parsley, garlic, zucchini, onions, green beans

Hot meals are($17 USD)

and includes rice with chicken
