Peace Building Team is a not for profit organization that seeks to inspire and empower the spirit of fair play and peace for every human. We are engaged in helping vulnerable children in the eastern part of Democratic Republic of Congo to reach their dreams and attain a better future. The children will be the ones who will provide peace in the future for our world by fighting all kinds of violations which are destroying their lives. Let us be committed to rescuing them as they are currently living in desperate conditions which threaten their very survival. Our center provides 140 children with shelter, loving care, basic living resources, and a stable environment with the opportunity to learn leadership, English, and conflict resolution in structured classes. Additionally, we lead them in activities such as theater, language arts (including our Poems of Peace program), and athletics. We conduct our programs in an effort to promote lasting peace and reconciliation in our communities.
