raising money for son first puppy

Before I had my son, I was against having a dog because of germs and the job required to maintain a dog. But seeing his expression when a dog comes around is priceless. So I have decided to save up money for his very first pet. I was able to save up 500 in nearly two months. So I've decided to search online for a french bulldog. On dogs.oddle.com I came across an ad 500.00 for a male french bulldog. I thought perfect! We sent numerous of text and emails, I was so excited never thought to question if it was legit or not. This has never  happen to me before or had this happen to anyone close to me. So to make a long story short I sent the money to the so called travel agency, and then I got reply back from the guy and he stated perfect the puppy will be shipped in two hours. Confirmation will be sent to you before flight takes off. Never receive anything. I texted him back he stated he was work and could not respond. I haven't heard from him since. So now I'm doing my best not to break down and cry and hide what's going on from friends and family and doing my best to come up with a way to get the dog I had wanted for my son. So even if this doesn't work at least I tried. So I'm asking if you can donate anything, it will truly help alot. If you have a french bulldog pup, I will gladly accept that as well.
