Raising money for my jaw surgery

Everything goes back to the summer 2011. Driving home from work one evening, I got hit by a drunk driver. My jaw suffered a large impact and was fractured in several places. Even though I am mentally healed from this traumatic experience, the accident is still with me every day. Looking into the mirror I see my asymmetric and dented jaw. For my misfortune, the surgeon patching me up wasn't very advanced in maxillofacial surgery.

Now, years later, I have finally gathered enough courage to start planning for a reconstructive surgery. However, the surgery is going to be really complex and thus, expensive. For someone studying in a university, it is impossible to raise all that money by myself. So I am reaching out for you. Help me to put behind the aftermath of the accident. Help me, so that I can look into the mirror without hearing the squeling of car brakes. Help me, so instead of drunk drivers my jaw will remind me of the generosity and kindness of people.

P.S: My profile picture is from time before the accident, since I don't really take photos anymore. But let's see that as the goal for surgery, and maybe I will one day enjoy being in photos again.
