Help me raise money for Butterly Children's Hospice, and Scouting in Hong Kong.
2021 marks the 110th anniversary of Scouting in Hong Kong, and we are determined to mark that be doing more good for the community we live in. We want to raise $110,000
Over the next 5 weeks, I'm going to be running (well, walking mainly!) over 110 km (166 km actually) across Hong Kong. Help me reach our target by sponsoring this journey.
Money raised will be used for two things:
Most money raised will be used to help support the Butterly Children's Hospices. They do some apsolutely amazing work, providing paliative care for children born with life limiting conditions, and providing care for children with life-threatening ilnesses. You can find out more here: Butterfly Children's Hospices.
We will also use part of the money raised to establish a new fund to allow and encourage young Scouts from disadvantaged families to take part in overseas expeditions, and help realise their potential. As District Commissioner for the Silver Jubilee District, part of the Scout Association of Hong Kong, I am passionate about Scouting, and the good it can do for the young people that are part of this amazing movement.
As I drag this rather unfit body over some of Hong Kong's highest peaks, I hope you will be able to help me along the way by doing all you can to help me reach our target.
