Raising funds for additional medical tests

Arnel Buccat is a 2 months old baby who's been suffering from an unknown illness. His parents noticed his belly getting bigger every day. He has a difficulty of releasing his bowel movement, irritability, difficulty in breathing (recently), allergy, respiratory infection(recently). His father doesn't have a stable and full time job. Mother is plain housewife and looking after him 24/7. They've been to a public hospital for almost a month, but it doesn't change his condition. His laboratories came out negative, though the growing of tummy and other signs of sickness continue to show up. Through some help, they were able to put money together to bring him to a private pediatric clinic. Another round of tests and ultrasound made. The ultrasound comes negative again, so the doctor advises them to get a higher test. One that is required is MRI. This is another blow to the poor young family. Just recently, after having some help they were able to bring the baby to a.Children's hospital where they finally got a proper diagnosis.

• Hirschsprung's disease

Hirschsprung's (HIRSH-sproongz) disease is a condition that affects the large intestine (colon) and causes problems with passing stool. The condition is present at birth (congenital) as a result of missing nerve cells in the muscles of the baby's colon.

A newborn who has Hirschsprung's disease usually can't have a bowel movement in the days after birth. In mild cases, the condition might not be detected until later in childhood. Uncommonly, Hirschsprung's disease is first diagnosed in adults. ( overview info source: www.mayoclinic.org)

The mother is begging for our help to save her baby's life. She posted a series of plea for financial help in her Facebook account named Mylene Buccat Abellada . She just wanted her son to be treated and hopefully grow healthy with them. I understand how this young mother worries about the life of her baby. I wanted to help, but they obviously need more people to pull their baby's life out of danger. For this, may I humbly ask for your help. Any amount will do.
