Campaign Story
Hello everyone. I'm trying to raise money for a passenger van to have the ability to help people flee from the hot points of Ukraine. Many people around the world know the Mariupol and how it has struggled, how it was shelled, how airstrikes hit it. But in Ukraine, many other cities are struggling like Mariupol. My native city, for example - Chernihiv is under bombing every day. It's shelled many times. It can become the second Mariupol if nothing will change. Despite that - many people stay there because they have no option to leave the city. Also, there were many stables that were bombed too without any purpose.
I'm trying to raise funds on my own, taking amounts from my income. But it's a hard thing to do and will probably take a large amount of time. Also, I'm trying to get a loan for described purpose, but it's hardly achievable as well. I tried to make a deal about monthly payments to van owners but seems like no one is interested in such deals. So now I'm trying to use this platform.
I wish to have an option to promise to return the raised money in a year, but there is no option to do so on this platform. But if you have any idea on how to make the repayable financing - tell me.
Money raised. What's next?
Once the amount that will be enough to buy at least one used van in normal condition would be raised - I'll buy a van. Then I'll drive it by myself to Chernihiv, Kyiv, or another city where people will need help to flee to western Ukraine, or I'll give the van to someone who I trust and who is brave enough to drive it to the cities where warfare is happening actively.
Amounts that will be raised over the target amount - will be sent directly to the local foundations or to the volunteers (to buy thermal imagers, body armor, food for the refugees, meds, etc.)

From 1 of April - vehicles with the EU/US registration don't need customs clearance.The city's administration will support this activity and will issue a document that will ensure that the transport is used for humanitarian purposes.
