Chalmane Kruger: “A Song of A life as A Miracle”

CHALMANE KRUGER, born 11 June 1965, of Cape Town, SA, is a well-known Gender-Based Violence Activist and survivor of Gender-Based Violence itself and has written her own memoir to help others understand what it is like to go through all of the horrific and shameful things people prefer not to speak about. In her campaign to help women and children, she is now using her newfound voice to show the victims and survivors who have gone through child abuse, rape and sexual harassment in the workplace; assault and death threats, that she has gone through similar circumstances as a child, youth and adult and that she understands exactly why they need help. This book is also in memory of all the victims who have been murdered and never had a chance to use their voice against their perpetrators and gain the appropriate justice.
