Raising Funds to Payoff a Debt

I urgently need funds to pay for two courses I completed in order to attain a B.A. I earned a couple thousand dollars working a temporary position but I haven't been able to find employment since. The college sent the debt to collection without giving a specific deadline date in advance and interest accrued. I'm actively seeking employment, applying to numerous positions everyday and have gone on several interviews but nothing has emerged since my temporary job ended.

Thanks in advance to anyone who generously gives funds. There are, of course, millions of people way worse off than me; I'm grateful that I have a roof over my head, food, clothes, and a safe place to sleep. At the same times, this debt is really a hindrance to professional goals and its important to pay it off soon so I can move forward.

Note: I need about $2,500 but I put 3,000 as the goal to try and offset what the site deducts from received donations. I'd be grateful if the donations at least reach $1,000-2,000--even $500 would be of assistance. Thank you to anyone that generously contirbutes.
