Raising Funds To Help Replace Stolen Money And Possessions

My friend is transferring to a university soon, but recently her and her family have been robbed which will make it more difficult for her to go to university and for her family to pay off their debts. A ton of things have been stolen from this family: Most of their hard earned money, social security numbers, electronics, and other things. Something important that I would like to mention is that they did not keep most of their money in the bank, but rather in their home instead. So this robbery definitely hit them harder than it would for most people. The police were not much help unfortunately, and the housing manager implied that it was their fault for getting robbed and simply turned the other way. The housing manager even asked them to pay for security improvements themselves. My friend is already looking to start working while in school, but they still need some help to get them back on their feet after this unfortunate event.
