Raising Funds For Recording Healing Music 3rd album “Envision”

Thank you for taking a moment to see me for who I am and who I want to become. I am Guylene Solon, a multifaceted Musician and Visual Artist from Brooklyn New York of Haitian Descent, playing the Kora, African harp. After the release of Respiro in 2014 and Lakay in 2016, performing worldwide in Jazz festivals, Yoga festivals and unique healing & wellness events, now on the brink of my new album Envision, I reach out to you, my fans for support to reach my goal and record an album that you will never forget.

Why Envision?

The idea behind this album is to go a step beyond healing music but also to inspire listeners to envision a new day, to envision their dreams or celebrate love in their lives. With this new album I would like to continue to create music that is not easily placed in any genre but transcends the idea of genres. Provoking a curiosity for the new and unique whilst being drawn in by a mesmerizing meditative sound.

After I began to play the Kora in 2014, I quickly realized that this was no ordinary instrument. It is a sort of sweet, sacred and healing experience that comes from listening to the sound of the Kora. I want to continue to honor that, share it and compliment it with my voice combining both written music and improvisation sung in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole and to record all live percussion in studio.
The new album titled "Envision" which will be of 11 tracks, should be completed by August 2018.
