Herewith a brief overview of Hidden with Christ Restoration Centre
We currently seeing to the emotional, social and physical needs of 24 members of the community, all willing and seeking restoration from their addictive behavior. All offerings by Hidden with Christ is based on biblical principles, adhering to the law, policies and procedure as per the constitution of South Africa and societal ethics.
Our Vision is to restore broken families, influencing them to build strong communities and leading to an economical sustainable country. Our mission is to influence all applicants to achieve their full potential the right way by living a renewed mind and a transformed life. Which will be embedded through holism values such as respect, integrity, excellence and stewardship. Our Belief is to refer to ourselves as a restoration centre and not a rehab centre because our Lord Jesus Christ restores us fully. Colossians 3:3 “ For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.”
We offer a 3-phase programme which runs over 24 months.
Phase 1: 6-month full-time programme.
Applicants are offered accommodation, 3 meals daily and the programme includes biblical principles and studies, a 3day detox and various soft skills.
Phase 2: 6-month work/study support program
HWC commits to support the applicant a further 6 months with finding employment or building their educational status.
Phase 3: 12 months mentorship walk
Research has proved that the pressures of life can be overwhelming and 80% of applicants relapse therefore. HWC allows the applicant to identify a mentor, build a partnership and the mentor supports the applicants for the next 12 months or thereafter.
Sustainability programme:
The Centre is sustained through the generous support of the founder, that of the community and local businesses offering short term/short time work opportunities.
