Raising Funds For Documentary Film On My Life As Ronald McDonald Now An Animal Rights Activist

In 1983 I was hired by McDonald’s Corporation as an actor to portray the part of Ronald McDonald on television commercials and live promotional appearances. After going to work for McDonald’s I saw firsthand the heartless cruelty in the way these poor animals were manufactured and violently killed simply to become junk food. Although I had been mostly vegetarian since I was 19 after taking this job and seeing the deceitful way children were being conned into thinking McDonald’s was a friendly family place, when in fact, it was one of the most manipulative, greedy and uncaring corporations operating compelled me to leave after two years. From that day I became an ardent animal rights activist and vegan. I soon launched an international campaign expousing ethical veganism centered on educating parents and children as to the wonderful benefits of a healthy, natural, plant-based diet and the rejection of needless violence and the murder of innocent factory farm animals of all kinds. Two years ago I began a self funded campaign to produce a documentary film on my time as both Ronald McDonald and The Marevlous Magical Burger King as an entertaining, educational tool inviting people of all ages to embrace a more healthy, harmonious, nonviolent way of life. With the help of some dedicated friends in the vegan world I was able to produce a 20 minute version but for it to be aired on television, or indeed meaningfully distributed internationally it needed to be at least two hours long. With my funding exhausted I now look to the public to assist me in continuing production on this important documentary on the imperative nature of ethical veganism and non-violence in all spheres of life.
