Raising funds for Angelica Talavera-Sotto – undergoing Orthopedic surgery

Angel is a 38 year old mom to Fia (3 years old) and husband to Mark Janson Sotto. She’s currently admitted in St Luke’s Medical Center, Quezon City due to sudden numbness felt from her lower breast down to her feet making it difficult for her to walk unassisted. MRI scans have been shown that there were compressed nerves in the thoracic area of the spine, causing the numbness of her lower body.

She has to undergo an Orthopedic Surgery to prevent further damage and more permanent disability and paralysis. Costs are ballooning up given the necessary laboratory tests, scans, medicines, and the actual surgery costs itself, plus the physical therapy sessions afterwards.

Portion of the total fees will be shouldered by Angel’s health insurance provider, however, the remaining bill is still a huge amount. (Most expensive one to date is the orthopedic surgery, roughly around Php 2,000,000.00).
