Raising funds for Yoga Teacher Training Course

Namaste.

My name is Mika.

I am a Japanese, have lived in London for over 30 years.

I am a volunteer Healer at Spiritual Association of Great Britain and work within a group on Saturdays healing and helping to bring comfort to the sick, stressed and bereaved.

I also belong to a development group at London Spiritual Mission and meditate on a regular basis.

A year ago I was certified as a Dharma Yoga teacher. Since then I have taught basic level of yoga to a small group of students.

Dharma Yoga practice not only generate flexibility and good health, but also mental and emotional strength and compassion to others. Though I enjoy working full time , I grew a strong desire to teach yoga , meditation and healing more and more in my spare time to bring physical well-being and inner peace to others.

I have been accepted to study 500hrs of Dharma Yoga teacher training taking place in New York this August and October but I found myself short of funds to cover all the cost.

The deeper I practice yoga and study its philosophy, the greater my desire to go back to study under my Guru, Sri Dharma Mittra to deepen understanding of his teaching and wisdom. He emphasise the importance of practicing Yama and Niyama = the Ethical rules and to be compassionate to others. He has raised awareness to World Peace over 50 years through his teaching, and I would like to dedicate myself to his philosophy.
