Raising Fund for my Goal: Diagnostic Clinics for the Rural Areas

Greetings! I'm Howard Bryan Hernandez, graduated at De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute with a pioneer degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science last 2018. Laboratory medicine provides 70% and more of all diagnoses, treatment, monitoring, and prognoses of illnesses and diseases. This indicate that my profession is one of the major significance in healthcare, especially to epidemic and pandemic disease outbreaks. Ever since I achieved my degree and passed the board licensure examination, I always have this drive in myself that I really want to help those people who are sick and suffer from wide range of illnesses/ diseases- one community at a time. In my country, the Philippines, although there are some sophisticated and world-class hospitals, most of the archipelago lacks access to healthcare services especially those people from rural areas. In addition to this matter, our country composed mainly of islands that providing and accessing healthcare services are one of the challenges of the sick and needy. Looking at my province of origin, Sibuyan, Romblon, there is no clinic there that provides wide range of diagnostic services and treatment.

My goal is to establish diagnostic clinics and provide healthcare services, primarily in my birthplace, then to another place, one community at a time and hoping for a disease-free community where everyone's well-being are holistic and healthful. This is what I want to fund and the money to be used.
