I am running the Chirk half marathon in aid of Hope for Hypothalamic Hamartomas UK. This charity is close to my heart as my daughter Faith has the condition it supports. A Hypothalamic Hamartoma is a benign lesion which lies on or around the Hypothalamus in the brain. It causes Faith to have drug resistant daily seizures, rages and emotional outbursts all of which can take over her day. My wish is that through fundraising we can raise awareness of the condition and assist In promoting research to increase treatment options and hopefully one day bring about a cure.
Please follow the YouTube link to see a beautiful video my eldest daughter has put together about the condition and how it effects the individual sufferer.

I know I'm a bit late, Sue, but I still wanted to make a donation. I just wish I could afford more for Faith, Tom, Carrie and others with HH.
