Please help us to RAISE THE ROOF of our barn, from the ground up!

Asher’s Farm Sanctuary provides safe haven – love, care and a forever home – to rescued farm animals. We need to build a BARN to house these special creatures and ensure they have the home they deserve.

Farm animals are the least protected, but most exploited, animals and the construction of our barn represents not just the physical protection a home provides, but the ethical protection that we are advocating for, on behalf of these otherwise defenceless animals. They will assist in raising awareness for the plight of their species, rendered helpless by factory farming and the effects of this farming on the environment.

We are already housing some rescued farm animals (Check out their stories here) and are expecting four rescued donkeys to arrive within the coming weeks. We have now reached our capacity and are in a position where we have to turn new rescues away - the sad reality is that they have no where else to go as we are the only registered farm animal sanctuary in Gauteng.

With your help, we can build our barn and begin taking in more rescues. We hope that visitors who spend time with the animals at our farm sanctuary will be able to gaze upon them with new eyes, recognizing their gentle nature and connecting to them in spirit with understanding and humility. We believe that, in this way, the relationship between animal and man can begin to heal, grow and strengthen.
