Feed hungry children along with their families in Yemen:-

Around 18.4 millions people are acutely malnourished in Yemen.

Overview:-

Due to the ongoing war to Yemen, civilians are struggling to survive. They’re forced to choose b/w food and other necessities like electricity, water or medicine. 18.4 million people are facing starvation and many of them are children.

Since war broke out in #Yemen four years ago, 85,000 children have been killed and around 360,000 children are suffering from severe acute malnutrition. These children who are younger than five are experiencing stunted growth. The children of Yemen have suffered far too long, living in conditions no human being should ever have to bear. It is sad but the young generation of Yemen is facing many challenges for living a normal life.

Aim of White Crescent Organization in Yemen:-

White Crescent Organization aims through this campaign to helping malnourished children along with their families in Sana'a provinces with food aid baskets in an attempt to alleviate the suffering of people there. Our donors through this campaign will be updated about what we have done in the field by posting pictures and videos that taken during the food aid distribution.

More information about current situation in Yemen:-

Yemen has become a failed and devastated state. Since March 2015, 9,245 people have been killed and 52,800 injured. Coalition air strikes are the leading cause of civilian casualties. According to the U.N. Human Rights Council, civilians have repeatedly been the victims of "unrelenting violations of international humanitarian law." About 75 percent of the population — 22.2 million people — needs humanitarian assistance. Some 18.4 million people do not know where their next meal is coming from, and 8.4 million are considered at risk of starvation. Severe acute malnutrition is threatening the lives of almost 400,000 children under the age of 5. Half of the country's 3,500 health facilities are functioning and at least 16.4 million people lack basic health care. Medics have struggled to cope with the world's largest cholera outbreak, with more than 1 million suspected cases and 2,248 associated deaths since April 2017. More than 3 million people have been forced to flee their homes, including 2 million who remain displaced.
