Campaign Story
I am a girl from Kenya, Africa. I am applying to go to Portland Community College. I have three elder siblings. My dad passed away when I was only two weeks old. My mother has raised the four of us alone. Her salary is not much. It cannot afford to take care of us all. She is a teacher in a primary school here in Kenya. Her months salary is very little, less than a 1 dollar in a month sometimes. At other times it's just only 3 dollars. This cannot even cater of all our needs. I want to further my education and be able to develop my home town and country. I lack the money to get me to college and hence a hinderance to my education and an end to my dreams.
