Raise funds for education of student from India

A young lad from my workplace came to Singapore all the way from India to pursue his education in hopes to show his single parent mother how great of a son he is. He left his mother and little young sister and invested his money to get an education qualification in Singapore, knowing that he is not coming from a well to do family and knowing Singapore's cost of living standard is high, with the money he had he was only able to pay off half of his education. The part time job his working is currently yearning him 900 and after deducting for room rental for housing, transport, food and remitting money back to his mother in India, he barely have enough to pay off the remaining 5000 he needs before his student pass expires and he gets sent back without a cert. i am doing this on his behalf because i feel that after all the time, money, effort, and after living the only 2 kin he has all alone, and if he ends up getting sent back without a education qualification certificate, it would be a true waste. i believe he is able to achieve more.
