Rachel’s Research needs you!

Dear friends and family, 

I know economic times are not great, but if you are one of those with a dollar to spare... I am leaving for Morocco on or about March 10, 2013 for a 3-month project on the Barbary macaques (the only macaque group found outside of Asia). This project is important to me because these macaques are on the ICUN Redlist as an endangered species. I also have interest in studying this species for ongoing conservation projects once I am done with my Master's degree. I have a link to a short project proposal attached for anyone wanting to see the specifics of this research project. I am applying for grants from other sources as well, but these grants are very difficult to come by and often do not grant enough money to cover much of the study cost. My university does provide me with a few pieces of equipment for my research, but housing, food, car hire and airfare, etc. are not included and I am still required to pay for my housing in London while I am away. Any money donated to this project will be used for this project only and anything over the trip costs will go to a conservation effort for the Barbary macaques through the Barbary Macaque project. I hope you will help to support me in this endeavor!
