US$500.00raised of $36,000.00 goal goal
Campaign Story
When Rachel was 16yrs old, I (her mom Cathie) was diagnosed with breast cancer. After many years of treament, we expereinced the loss of all of our savings and assets. By the time Rachel graduated from high school, I was still under treatment and unable to work. Rachel has a dream to be a nurse. But even with student loans, the cost of living is too high for her to go to school full time in the nursing program. They have a 1 year tech school at Cambridge for nursing, but it is more than full time commitment of her days required and the cost of the program is $36,000 for just that one year.
So, we need help! I know we can do this. She is committed, wants it more than anything and all we need are the funds. Your contribution will be monitored and managed by me Cathie, her mother. I have been finacially repsonsible all my life and I even managed to not go banrupt or need a financial bail out even after a divorce, then surviving cancer. We made it this far and I know we can raise the money for her to realize her dream, inspite of past misfortune. This will forever enable her to be a contributing member of society. She will be able to spend her life serving others and caring for them as a nurse.
