Rachael and Estelle’s Excellent Midwifery Adventure!

Hi! Thanks for visit our fundraising page! As part of our midwifery degree we have been offered 3 weeks in October 2015 to travel abroad on an elective placement to experience midwifery in a different culture so we can challenge our preconceptions of midwifery worldwide as to try make a small difference whilst we are there! We are really exciting about the possibility of this adventure and would love to go to Nepal...but we need your help if it is going to happen!! The University of Brighton stipulate that we must organise our trip through an organisation called Work the World who will organise everything for us but, that means the trip is pretty pricy! We also have to pay for our own flights, visas, dreaded vaccinations and malaria tablets as well as some accommodation and food whilst we are there. We are funding raising to cover all these costs - any personal spending we are funding ourselves. We need to raise a WHOPPING £1750 EACH By August!!! (Yes you did hear us right! That's why we really need your help!!) We would be so, so grateful if you would like to support us in this amazingly unique learning experience...we believe that this amazing opportunity will have a huge impact on our future careers.
