Race to Fundraise for My Husband’s Life

I am writing this story to ask for your help and kind donation to save my husband’s life.

On 2 July, he was admitted to the hospital with an initial diagnosis of myasthenia gravis (MG) – a chronic autoimmune disorder that destroys the communication between the nerves and the muscles, resulting in the weakness of skeletal muscles.

However, after further prognosis, the doctors found out that he has a brain abscess (his brain is filled with pus), secondary to and most importantly chronic sinusitis caused by a fungal infection. His blood sugar also goes up and down now and then, and as advised, an operation would be needed to save his life. He has already lost his vision because of the brain abscess and the sooner he will get this operation, the greater the chance for him to regain his eyesight.

As a wife, mother, grandmother, my family and I are appealing for your kindness and generosity to help us raise funds to ensure that my husband gets the operation he needs to save his life. While we need to raise a total amount of 500,000PHP (10,000USD), we would genuinely appreciate any amount of contributions shared as it would already help us and in a long way. As my husband would say, “together we can make a difference”, I believe that your help would truly make a difference in my family and more so with my husband’s life.
