Hops-A-Lot Rabbit Rescue is currently limited in Scope without a 501C3 and LLC. We take in injured, dumped, abused and owner surrender Rabbits. We provide health and rehab services to the unwanted Rabbits and help them find their forever home. The expense of caring for and rehabbing these Rabbits have been out of pocket by the Volunteers. We sometimes get cases that are ongoing like Scooter. He was a classroom project and the teacher decided she did not want him anymore. He was raffled off to the class. The child's parents did not want Scooter, but gave in to the child. Scooter lived his first 3 years in a garage in a small cage, with no AC and no light. He has had 5 surgeries so far and is need of a couple more. The surgeries were a hernia and teeth removed. This was due to poor diet. He is unadoptable, as he has ongoing issues. All his surgeries were paid by a volunteer. Also pictured is Spike, he was rescued from a park, where someone has hit him with darts. He has since been healed and now in a wonderful home with one of our Volunteers.

We are trying to get our 501C3 so we can ask for donations, have booths at different Community events, we can have adoption events and have fundraisers. We also have to become a LLC Company to protect ourselves and our animals. Please help us become a 501C3 so we can continue saving and rehabbing these Rabbits and help educate the Community and Businesses on Proper Rabbit Care, so the dumping of rabbits can end.
